Our own Kurt Brewer is preaching this Sunday, July 20, since our senior pastor is still out of the country with the Uganda Team. Kurt and his wife Morgan have been part of the Redeemer family for eight years, and he regularly leads our adult Christian-Ed. class. They’ve both been on staff with Cru for over a decade now, serving on campuses around the Lowcountry and sharing the Gospel with students. Kurt will preach from Genesis 11:1-9 about the tower of Babel in a sermon titled Personal Glory Propaganda Posters, examining how we all have our own versions of propaganda posters (like the one shown above).
We’ll start our morning with missions prayer breakfast to specifically pray for our Uganda Team, our Redeemer-supported missionaries serving around the world, and the Cru students who will return next week to their homes and colleges. Bring breakfast foods to share, and join us for prayer and fellowship. Kids ages 3-7 will continue their summer series.
Here’s our electronic bulletin for Sunday that’s easily viewed on any tablet; we do offer paper bulletins (including a LARGE PRINT edition) on Sunday morning as well. Use the song lyrics and sermon passage to help prepare yourselves and your families for worship this weekend. You’ll also find a schedule for who’s serving in our various nurseries, a list of how to get involved in current ministry opportunities, and other details about our worship service and church life.
