Make plans to join us Sunday, December 24 for our special Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 pm in our sanctuary at 43 Wentworth St. in downtown Charleston, SC. Our worship service is open to the public! We look forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior with you and your family. Children of all ages are welcome to participate in this service; our nurseries will be open for parents to use, but we will not have any volunteers or staff working that evening.
Since we spent over four years in our beloved Deuteronomy sermon series at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, we’ve had lots of babies born–babies we’ve dubbed “Deuteronomy Babies.” On our last Sunday in Deuteronomy, we attempted a picture with Pastor Craig and all the babies. It was chaotic to say the least!

- Advent begins – Join us this Sunday, December 3 for the first Sunday of Advent!
- Children’s Christmas Celebration – Our preschool and elementary children are working hard each week to learn their songs for their musical celebration on Sunday,December 10 at 5 pm at Redeemer. There will be costumes, sets, dances, duets, songs, Scripture, and more! Come support our children, and celebrate with us!
- Christmas Party & Talent Show – Easily our best event of the year, our family Christmas party and talent show is not to be missed! Join us Sunday, December 17at 6 pm at The Cedar Room (701 East Bay St., 29403), since our Fellowship Hall is still being renovated. Plan to bring several finger-food dishes to share–we need plenty of hors d’oeuvres from savory to sweet. If you’d like to participate in the talent show portion of the evening, then please read and complete this online form for all the participation information. We look forward to celebrating with you and your family!
- Christmas Eve Service – Join us on Sunday, December 24 at 6 pm at Redeemer for our special candlelight service. Remember to arrive early for best seating and parking, since we host many from other churches around Charleston.
At Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, our Redeemer family put together 98 boxes–and counting!–for Operation Christmas Child! Huge thanks to Vince & Wendy Dammai for heading up the collection and delivery. Thank you to everyone in our church family for giving items, packing boxes, and donating money to help bring smiles to children’s faces around the world and empower missionaries around the world to share the gospel.
Join the men of Redeemer and other downtown churches for the First Wednesday Men’s Lunch at St. Philip’s Parish Hall on Wednesday, November 1 at noon. Come enjoy good food with a requested donation of $10, plus hear a guest speaker. November’s guest speaker is Mikell Scarborough, Master-in-Equity for Charleston County.
The end of October marks 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg (and thus beginning the Reformation). Our Lowcountry Presbytery will celebrate and remember this historic church event–and worship our glorious God and Savior Jesus Christ–with a joint worship service on Sunday, October 29 at 6 pm in Redeemer’s sanctuary at 43 Wentworth St. in downtown Charleston, SC. Mark your calendars, men, for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and football on Saturday, November 4 from noon to 4 pm at Todd McKeehan’s home (1105 Galleon Rd., 29412). Come get to know Redeemer men outside of your community group, and bring one of the “people of peace” in your life to this easy, open, and social event. Lunch will be provided. Join the church family of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, after our worship service on Sunday, October 8 for a picnic lunch at Mt. Pleasant’s Memorial Waterfront Park (99 Harry M.
