Community Groups are the main ministry of Redeemer outside of Sunday morning worship. Connect with a community group during the week for great fellowship and Bible study. However, community groups at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, are much more than just Bible studies. These groups are like “house churches” where we want to live in community with each other like Luke writes about in Acts 2:42-47 because we’re a family on mission together.
Community groups are where we can learn together as disciples, take care of one another as neighbors, and reach out to our communities in love. Read the latest stories from our community groups.
Our community groups are the primary place where you are known and cared for at Redeemer and where we build personal relationships and practice applying the Gospel to our lives. Within our structure of community groups, we also minister specifically to women through our Women’s Ministry.
Each week our community groups meet in homes all around the greater Charleston area in small groups of 8-12, where friendships form over coffee or a meal; and we grow in our faith by studying the Word, encouraging and praying for each other, and serving together. Each community group has its own mix of members, visitors, fellowship, Bible study, food, singing, prayer, and childcare. For more information, please contact the group coordinators listed below. We can help connect you with a community group, so contact us if you have questions.
