We must choose the blessings of God and seek to live lives of peace. Matthew’s gospel records Jesus’ first words from the Sermon on the Mount as “Blessed are…” Our senior pastor reminded us that being “blessed” does not mean getting stuff; it is knowing how to live in this world.
