While Easter celebrations at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, will be different from a normal, non-pandemic year, we are excited to celebrate together this year as a church family. Below are the details for our events during Easter Week.
Seder Passover Meal
For this year we’re encouraging our Community Groups to gather for Seder meals during Easter Week in smaller groups or as families. If you’re new or unfamiliar with a Seder, read this refresher with pictures from our previous celebrations. As you’re planning Seders for your CG or your family, use these instructions with a supply list and necessary links for the video playlist and participant’s guide. This event can be a wonderful time to invite neighbors or friends to experience the Seder meal with you. Be sure to snap some photos and share on our #encouragement channel.
Good Friday Service
Join us for our Good Friday Service on April 2 at 7 pm as we allow Scripture to tell the story of Jesus’ Definite Plan to go to the cross and die there for people like us. Join us for this somber and reflective service in our sanctuary. Childcare will be provided for children age 4 and under, so please reserve your child’s nursery spot when reserving your spot in the sanctuary. Sign up here for this special event!
We’ll offer two worship services in the morning for Sunday, April 4 at 8:30 am and 11 am. (We will not have an evening service on Easter.) For decorating our sanctuary, the church will provide a few Easter lilies, and we’d love for you to bring another lily or two to help decorate. After the 11 am Easter service, we encourage you to share your lily or one of the church’s lilies with a neighbor or friend. Reserve your spots for Easter Sunday worship here.
