Equip Hour

Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Charleston, SC, M'Cheyne Reading Plan

**Our hope is to begin our Equip Hour again in January 2021!**

Join us on Sunday mornings following our worship service for our Equip Hour! Similar to Sunday School, our Equip Hour at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, offers classes for adults, youth, and children.

Our Equip class for adults meets in our beautiful Fellowship Hall on the second floor of our Education Building. Following the worship service, we have coffee and breakfast nibbles during a time of fellowship. Most Sundays the adults break into small groups of 10-12 people for a directed discussion focusing on responding to and discussing the sermon passage and points. It’s a casual time of mingling with the Redeemer family beyond your community group.

Our Equip classes for youth also meet in the Education Building: The middle school class meets in the office on the third floor, and the high school class meets in the conference room on the second floor. Contact Peter Mathias with questions about the youth classes. Read more here about the curriculum for each of the youth classes.

Our Equip classes for our children, including preschool (3K-5K) and elementary (grades 1-5), meet on the first floor in the Education Building. Be sure to check in your children first with the Welcome Desk attendant, so she can issue your child a nametag before walking down the hall to class. Contact Lisa Coulter, our Children’s Ministry coordinator, with questions. Read more here about the curriculum for the children’s classes.

We also provide a nursery for infants and toddlers during our Equip hour, so parents can attend the Equip class for adults. We offer nurseries for ages up to 3 with friendly, knowledgeable volunteers from among our church members. (All our nursery volunteers have also passed a background check.) For more information about our nurseries, contact Lauren Pepin, our nursery coordinator.
