At Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, we gathered on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, to celebrate the Risen Christ. Our senior pastor led us through Matthew 26:57-68, encouraging us that Jesus has great expectations for us this Easter.
- That we’d trust him in the silences. We don’t know what Jesus is accomplishing in the silences of our lives, so we must keep his Resurrection ever before us.
- That when Jesus does speak, our future puts our present in the proper perspective.
- That a vision of the Resurrection makes us more like Jesus. When our eyes are on the Resurrected Jesus, we become more like him.
