Join us this Sunday, September 8 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, at 9 am for our big potluck breakfast as we kick off the new year of Equip classes for all ages! We’ll highlight those students who are promoting into new classes, and we’ll welcome back all the kids with fun activities and a special SURPRISE in their rooms downstairs after breakfast. Be on time because they won’t want to miss it!! Bring a breakfast dish or two to share, and join us for this church family celebration!

Dr. Barry Jenkins recently retired as Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Florence, SC. He and his wife Susan are both from Columbia, where he was in the real estate and development business for nearly 10 years prior to God’s calling him into ministry. He’s served three Presbyterian congregations in SC and has been heavily involved in overseas mission. For over 20 years he has taken approximately 150 members of his congregations deep into the Amazon jungle to share the Gospel and plant churches. He’s made three trips to India in support of church planters and was recently in Africa to work on freeing children from slavery. They have two sons and five grandchildren and are in the process of moving to Lake Murray in Lexington, SC.
