‘Peter Follows Jesus’ | Tell Me Stories of Jesus

Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Charleston, SC, preschool, elementaryAt Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, our preschool and elementary children are enjoying their series Tell Me the Stories of Jesus. The story for this week ending on Sunday, October 16 is titled Peter Follows Jesus. This story of Jesus is also found in Luke 5:1-11 and Matthew 4:18-20. You can also read Let’s go! in The Jesus Storybook Bible.

Continue to use the Scripture memory rings this week to learn the Bible verses. As children arrive, they will say the verse to a teacher and receive a bead on their name-tag lanyards. Elementary kids will recite a verse each week, and preschool kids have a verse each month to learn. Below are the verses for the children to recite this Sunday, October 16.

Elementary Verse: Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid: from now on you will catch men.” So they pulled their boast up on the shore, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:10-11

Preschool Verse: “For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him who sent me.” John 6:38
