Upcoming Events at Redeemer

Join us at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, for these upcoming, special events for winter/spring 2021. To get this information (and more!) delivered to your inbox each week, contact Gray Morgan to be added to the weekly Email Blast.

All our serving teams for Sunday mornings are working on long-range schedules for 2021, and we need your help. Whether you can help run our livestream, greet and hand out bulletins, stand guard with our security team, or prepare the communion table, we have plenty of spots open for you. Reach out to Gray Morgan or John Song with your desire to serve the body of Christ specifically on Sunday mornings, and we’ll get you paired up with the best team for your interests and level of commitment.

Enough volunteers weren’t available for a February event, but we would love to host another Kids’ Worship Night/Date Night around Easter. Please email Lisa Coulter or call her at 843-442-2024, if you are willing and available to help. It’s an easy gig! Lisa does all the prep—volunteers just show up for the fun. Thank you for serving our covenant children who long for the special fellowship of these fun events with their friends and church family!

We’re excited for our next Youth Group Community Group Night tonight, February 26 at 6:30 pm at the Songs’ house (2462 Storen St., 29406). Middle and high school students are invited to attend; there will be games, food, Bible study, and prayer.

Join our church family for a church picnic after our morning worship service on Sunday, March 14 at Mt. Pleasant’s Memorial Waterfront Park (99 Harry M. Hallman, Jr. Blvd., 29464). Bring a picnic lunch for your family, a blanket and chairs, and a football or frisbee. Enjoy plenty of green space and shade, wide open spaces, and playgrounds for older kids and younger. Join Redeemer friends and families for fellowship and fun! (If the weather is not agreeable that day, then we’ll reschedule for the following Sunday, March 21.)

While Easter celebrations will be different from a normal, non-pandemic year, we are excited to celebrate together this year as a church family. In the coming weeks we’ll provide more information about our ever-popular Seder meal and dramatic Good Friday observance. For Easter Sunday on April 4 we’ll offer two worship services in the morning: 8:30 am and 11 am. (We will not have an evening service on Easter.) More Easter Week details to come!

Community Groups: Community Groups are the main ministry of Redeemer outside of Sunday morning. These groups are like “house churches” where we want to live in community with each other like Luke writes about in Acts 2:42-47 because we’re a family on mission together. Find more info here.
